5.1 Employee Relationship
According to Heery and Noon (2008), the tactics and procedures used by organizations to establish a positive and equitable work environment are referred to as employee relations. It encourages mutual understanding, collaboration, and communication between management and staff. Labor relations, work satisfaction, and employment circumstances are all included by employee relations.
5.2 Employee and Employer expectations
According to Leat (2008), each employer and employee have expectations relevant to employee relationship.
For Employees,
Good working condition and a safe and healthy environment
Employee satisfaction and self confidence
Employees will be handled in a fair and honest way
For Employers,
Employer's rights to take necessary action depending on the employees' performance levels.
Employee's actions for the betterment of the employer.
A willingness to change
The capability to take initiative.

5.4 Strategies employer use to foster employee relations
Effectively Communicate
open and sincere communication. Employers should have regular discussions with employees on expectations and company goals.
Establish clear policies and procedures
The foundation of excellent employee relations is When rules and procedures are well defined, it is ensured that workers are aware of their responsibilities, rights, and the expectations of the company. Fairness and trust are fostered when these guidelines are adhered to regularly.
provide opportunities for feedback
Provide channels for staff members to provide feedback, such as suggestion boxes, recurring surveys, or face-to-face meetings with managers. When it's feasible, respond to this input to let the staff know you value their opinions.
Promote a positive work culture
a courteous, cooperative, and welcoming workplace. Make sure harmful behaviors are dealt with right away and that employees feel respected and comfortable in their workplace.
Lead by example
The same norms and regulations that executives and corporate leaders expect of their team members should be followed by them as an example. Workplace culture could be significantly impacted by their behavior.
